R'surene Ganymede (Buster) and R'surene's Harlequin (Fred) are examples of the type of foals Ken-Mar
Winston is producing. Ganymede is a combination of the Fleetwing/Trophy/Deerfield Challenger bloodlines of his sire and
the well known Waseeka/Upwey Ben Don bloodlines of his dam. Harlequin carries the close up bloodlines of Lord Appleton and
Waseekas In Command via his dam. The pictures and video below were taken on December 29, 2011. Literally brought out
of the pasture and sporting a winter coat, you can easily recognize on these two half brothers what has come to be known
as The Signature. More about this unique way of identifying a particular bloodline can be seen on the pages entitled
Winston's Story and Remember When... located on the Stallions page. Buster is now two years
old and a gelding; Fred is a large yearling who will be gelded in the spring. Both of these colts are being kept by us
as our personal representatives of the signature. We are now in our third year of raising and promoting
Winston's children. At our age we couldn't be more proud of these two nor of the fillies offered for sale. Plans are to show
two of Winston's fillies at the Southern States Regional: Dottie, a driving and in hand champion and Patty, a yearling filly
out of our special mare HVK Stillness. Both fillies are for sale. Prices are listed. We will have another Winston signature whose
dam carries the UVM Watchman and UVM Flash bloodlines in May and Kim Becker of Sidney, Iowa, is expecting a full sibling to
Buster in May out of her Waseeka Showtime daughter.
